This Medical Imaging Symposium will showcase how medical imaging is used in practice and to present some of the most exciting emerging medical imaging techniques. The speaker list represents a unique combination of clinicians and engineers/physicists, with presenters ranging from surgeons, radiologists and ophthalmologists to medical physicists and biomedical engineers.
The symposium will start with a talk from WA Scientist of the year Prof Christobel Saunders and will also feature a number of international speakers, including Professor Jeff Bamber, Institute of Cancer Research, London, a pioneer in the field of ultrasound imaging. There will also be a focus on local researchers working in this field, with a number of PhD students and early-career researchers presenting their work. Please see attached flyer for more details.
