Australia and the UK face similar challenges: ageing populations, increased healthcare costs and pressures on Government and Health Insurance funding. The Australian British Health Catalyst 2019 theme is Integrated Healthcare in a Digital World.
Aimed at healthcare leaders the Delegations’ main goal is to facilitate greater two-way trade and investment between the United Kingdom and Australia by bringing senior corporate and government representatives together. There is also the aim of developing and delivering a return on knowledge through collaboration and exchange of innovative initiatives
Following the success of the Infrastructure and Financial Services delegations, the Health Catalyst representatives will travel to London and Cambridge in early July 2019. The programme will examine patient-centric digital health technologies – from better management of records, facilities and diagnoses, what the care network of the future looks like, and how to recognise the cyber security challenges of today
