WAHTN will host a talk and short Q and A on the newly established Australian National Phenome Centre (ANPC). The talk titled, Clinical and population phenomic approaches to augment clinical actionability and preventive medicine strategies, will be presented by Professor Jeremy Nicholson (Director of the Australian National Phenome Centre, Pro Vice Chancellor for Health Science and Director of the Health Futures Institute at Murdoch University) and colleagues.

The establishment of the ANPC is a very exciting and significant development for WA research, led by Murdoch University. Through the use of sophisticated biological analysis technology, the ANPC will enable researchers to examine the complex interaction and influence of genes, the environment and lifestyle on human and animal health. This talk will focus on the technical side of what can be achieved with the ANPC and invite those in related fields to explore potential research collaborations.
