The Melanoma Research Group at Edith Cowan University is hosting a seminar by Dr  Majid Ebrahimi Warkiani. Dr Warkiani belongs to the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, University of New South Wales (UNSW), and has ample expertise in the development of microfluidic devices for the isolation of circulating tumour cells and subsequent genetic and functional analysis. Currently, he is collaborating with multi-disciplinary groups at Harvard, MIT and National University of Singapore (NUS) for development of functional micro/nano-scale tools for study of human diseases and point-of-care diagnostics.
