X- Ray Diffraction is a very useful technique for characterization of various materials in different ways. With the recent advancements in hardware and software technology, high end X-Ray Diffraction and X-Ray Scattering experiments usually done on Synchrotron can be performed at lab scale even faster than before. This can be supported with elemental chemistry information obtained from X-Ray Spectrometry available as a complimenting tool.

PANalytical’s new developments in X-Ray Detectors, sample platforms and software have enabled characterization of materials ranging from minerals, nano materials, proteins, semiconductors, metals, polymers etc to be performed on a single diffraction platform the EMPYREAN.
